Educational Equity Consultants

Peter T. Wilson of St. Louis, Missouri has been in K-12 education for over 30 years.  He is a Senior Partner with Educational Equity Consultants (EEC).  EEC specializes in leadership development, individual and organizational change with a strong commitment to anti-racism and educational equity.  EEC’s clients include twelve school districts in the Metro St. Louis area as well as school districts in Pennsylvania, Virginia and California. In recent years he served as site coordinator for the Missouri Education Policy Fellowship Program, a program of the Washington DC-based Institute for Education Leadership. From 2004-2009 he chaired the School of Education Advisory Board at Webster University. From 2004-2007 he served as a consultant to the Dean’s Committee on Social Justice at the College of Education, University of Missouri.  From 2000-2003 he served as a facilitator for the African-American Achievement Alliance. From 1997-2000 he was a leadership development consultant to the St. Louis Public Schools. In 1999 he initiated a work group on White Privilege which continues to help whites understand their privilege and use it to promote social justice. In 1998, he was on the faculty of the NCCJ Dismantling Racism Institute and the NCCJ Building an Inclusive Community workshop.  From 1986-1995 he served as co-developer and organizer of Leadership St. Louis Program’s “Day on Racism.”  He has an Ed.D. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a BA from Colgate University. He is married, has three children and one grandson and twin granddaughters.
